THE CHILE SERIES

 The Chile series is a series of 70 drawings that I drew in Santiago de Chile while artist in residence at the Traschi gallery. The drawings are a little bit like short stories or traces of ideas, possibly lies or trains of thoughts. Some are funny while others are emotional and delicate. I drew them while sleeping, I think. The drawings are hung on the wall in clusters and therefore an internal dialouge is formed between them. This series has been shown in the Traschi Gallery in Santiago de Chile, Kunstverein Langenhagen in Germany, ASÍ Art museum in Reykjavík, Iceland and in Skaftfell Cultural Center, Seyðisfjörður, Iceland. The drawings have been published as an artist book.
